Techiquita, given to me by my Bugga-boo, (Bug on the zone), just cuz' she happens to think I'm Techie, and as for the Quita part... that's a long story.
CortRae, eh that's also a long story, and i won't disclose the name of the person who has ginven me the name, (just to save sanity), but Cort is of course part of my first name, and Rae is my middle name, but the reason there is a "dash" in between the two words, is because of the way it's spoken...
The "T", and "R" flow together, sort of like water flowing over rocks... subtle, but not even noticeable... crap! sorry for the weird way in which this was explained.

And Trub and Trouble and Troublemaker from my dad because i'm trouble. And Poopy and Poopsy from my sister for no apparent reason. Then Coodge and CCAAIITTLLIINN and Keln from my friends, for various reasons. And Ad`ele is my French name in French class. And on and on ... oh and Chabo and Le Chien and Elbow and Elf Ear from my friend Molly the Mollusk (who isnt' a mollusk).
well, my family always calls me jessie. and i hate that name, but i'm so used to them calling me that that i keep it, and my four year old cousin can't pronounce her j's right so it's cute the way she says it. it sounds more like sheshi or chechi. my boyfriend calls me balloon baby, but i'll let him explain that. smiles, acosha

Just to clarify <smiles> "balloon baby" has nothing to do with acosha's shape or weight in any way, couldn't be further from it. It's got to do with the way she says balloon and baby. It's just incredibly cute.
My (older) sister calls me Nani, my brother-in-law and at least 2 cousins call me Nanis (pronounced Nahnys), my dad sometimes can't pronounce his l's right so calls me Leinani or Neenani, and another cousin and a friend calls me Lani. I also had a notetaker in school that would just call me Lei. And then some friends call me Sweetie. (Sweet is actually my first name *really*, and Leilani is my middle name.) *smiles* Oh, and then when we are chatting on Instant Messenger, my sister sometimes calls me tinkle *embarrased smile* because she can get away with that with my screen name being 'lil Tinkerbell. And another friend I chat with calls me Tinker. And finally, I was called Leilani mon by an instructor at a summer program because I was really into Pokemon at that time. *smiles*

Well when I was real big in to the rap sceene, a guy gave me the name Mis Diamond. I shortened it to Mis D; still like it, not many (hardly none) use it, now. Which is ok.
I am also called Cracker, thanks to an episode at a camp for the blind between me and my best friend. It is not bad or anything just hilarious, to us anyway. If yall wanna know, then I'll tell but otherwise I will go on.
My love calls me Dixie sometimes, and one time he called me Malaurah. I of course love both names, although Dixie of course is more prevalent than "Malaurah" because when he called me Malaurah he slipped up..
My love also calls me Shan-Shan, and only he can do that. Stacy, Dakotah, and Hopie (friends of mine, Stacy is my best friend) all call me Shandy, and Jes does some too... Also, Dakotah calls me Shorty even though I don't much like it.

It's a long story as to why I was given that name, but it was pretty funny because we were talking about music and for some unknown reason, he said baby, lol! Amazing Musician: Given by my little cousin. She told me that I was the most amazing musician that she's ever heard. Hence, the name. Kilikina: It's the Hawaiian version of my real name. Given to me by my friend steph who is Hawaiian but now resides in Florida. Squeakymouse: This one was given to me 5 years ago by Joey (friend from grade school) Everytime someone would tickle or grab my sides, I would squeak and they all thought I sounded like a mouse :P As for the others, my father used to call me Krissykins when I was very little, and the rest of my family all calls me Kriss or Krissy. It's rare when anyone in my family or those close to me call me by my actual name :P Anyway, I think that's pretty much it. Bye.
For some reason, my dad calls me Mookie. My former math teacher calls me Turtle because of my huge backpack, and for a while my friends called me Moose because someone put the word Moose in my class ring. I'm serious. And I have a ton of nicknames for my dogs.

My favorite nickname is Babydoll. It was givin to me by Pete, he was a good friend of my mothers and mine who lived with us here. Anyway I've told everyone how he was in the hospital. Well, we found out he had cancer in both his lungs, his liver, bones and it spread into his brain. He declined so so so fast. We had Hospice here to help us, but he got to the point where he couldn't get out of bed and was incoheriant. The last thing he said to me I Will never forget. It was last Tuesday night after we had to help him upstiars. He said "goodnight babydoll I love you" He passed away Tuesday night at 8:30 pm. I was up there holding his hand while he died. I was also a wreck that night. I miss him so much, but I Know that he's in a better place where he has no pain. BUt still it's a hard thing to go thru becuase I was really attached to him.

Hmm. I've got a few. My dad calls me names such as babygirl, missie, actually alot of people call me missie for some unknown reason. My aunt, my grandmother, my cousin, sometimes my ltttle brother, My other aunt only when I give her attitude lol. Court Court calls me Genell-ers. And only she could say that, *smiles*, my Friend Nadia calls me Jellz. After she started calling me Jellz some other friends started doing it. She also would call me Jellow Janellee. The name Jellow came from the fact it started with a j and sinse my name has the ell sound in it, it sort of became Jellow. Sometimes I put my msn name as Jellz since that's what Nadia calls me most of the time. My friend Justin calls me beautiful, Randy calls me playa, well he calls everyone playa so.. And My uncle calls me hot lips when I get rude with him.

My nickname is turtle given to me by a houseparent at the blind school because I sleep with my head completely under the blankits. And when she would come to get me up I would just barely poke my head out and then pull it back down. As she got to know me she decided that turtle fit me well because I hid my true emotions and thoughts. Its not so much true anymore. But I still like the nickname because turtles knowwhect themselves and when not to and are also quite strong. i'm also called Shelly.

Mossip was this weird creature that lived down a well in this children's program that used to be on in the UK when we were little called the riddlers. God knows why he chose me to be Mossip, I think that quite an insult... hehehehe
My full name is Katelyn, and I grew up with Katie with it spelled k regular a t i e and now when I write Käti, I like k umlauted German a, t, and i. I stick with Kate, it's pretty simple. One of my adaptive P.E. teachers called me Kates, and my friend Maarten calls me Kater because of my last initial and the fact he's Dutch and Kater is cat in Dutch. I used to call myself rider girl when I was little, rider girl was the part of me who was brave and wasn't afraid of anything, so I've had some email addresses before with rider girl in them. When I was a Metallica freak, I had a good friend who liked their singer James Hetfield, so I called her Het and she called me Kat or Kat Ulrich because I liked Lars Ulrich. I couldn't think of a creative enough name when I called Graffiti, so I was metal girl, and I was metal girl for awhile on the zone too. Then, I switched to Aida Melodica in some places like the Blind Guardian forum because I like melodic metal and they had an album coming out called A Night at the Opera and an aida is the leading lady of the opera. When that album's hype died down, I shortened it to melodica and here I am, although Rachel calls me Melida which is kinda cool. And, although I won't disclose the circumstance, I have to give props to my first ex for calling me Hurricane Melodica, hehe. Oh yeah, and dad calls me Pumpkin because I came home from the hospital a week after I was born and that was Halloween. Mom calls me Princess Poo or Princess Poop and I hate that, but I let her do it, hehe, or Sweetcakes sometimes, blergh.
my best friend gave me the nickname starrry. she said she had a poster of stars, and everytime she saw it, she thought of me. the nickname means so much to me, especially now that she's no longer with us. practically everyone calls me that, and it makes me so proud.

I have some others to add that I for some reason didn't cross my mind before, but anyway: my grandpa from my mom's side calls me "baby darlin'", but it's the way he says it, because English is his second language so he has a little accent to it, plus he kind of sings it out. Also, my dad calls me "weasel", not sure how he got that one. And some of my uncles from my mom's side call me "Leilani loca".
My nicknames. Hmmmmm. stallion, figure it out for yourself. Stud, another obvious one. Curly, due to my long and curly hair, which I fucking hate! Thanks Carl for that one! And there is Doctor Guitar because I'm kind of a guitar freak... That's all I remember at the moment...

Oh, yeah, the point of this topic. My dad calls me kid or shit head. It's a term of indearment, really it is. Some of my friends have called me wolf, or the wolf, because me wuvs wolves. Also, I am a leader so wolf sometimes becomes alfa wolf or alfa. I call my best friend Kaitlyn Kailtyn, because she once misspelled gher own name at the end of an email. Mike is ancher or marshmello man. Matt is Matt the magic seal or math. Jeff is signore snarkey pants, or just snarkey, for a while he was the short one. Becky, really Rebbecca is Beeky to me. My boy friend calls me sweety and my mom calls me pumpkin.

The nickname that's stuck with me the longest is Manda Panda or variations of it. It started when I was little; my grandmother always called me Manda Panda. My good friends shorten it to Panda now.
Once, I misspelled my own name when signing something. I wrote "Amada" instead of "Amanda" (yeah, I'm an idiot). So my friend Betsy took to calling me Amada. It eventually got lengthened to Amada Maflingo because Betsy's nephew called flamingos maflingos. "Amada Maflingo," said Betsy, "Doesn't that just go together well somehow?" And it stuck.
Oh Lord, there are wayyy too many. Pelson, which is a totally weird combination of my first and last name and was given to me by my best friend at one of those random everything's-funny-at-3AM times, the Pinse, which is a shortish sort of form of my last name and was given to me by a guy I've known since I was eight, ReeRee (don't any of you dare call me that, ever), which comes from my middle name Marie, and only family is allowed to call me that, MooMoo, which is something my favorite aunt calls me for no apparent reason, Rabbit and Mousetail, also best friend 3AM things, Puddinhead (again, dont any of you dare call me that), given to me by the most annoying guy I used to be totally in love with for no reason other than to irritate me, C-rizzle, given to me by my ex-boyfriend when we were talking ghetto to each other because I said 'yo' when he said hi to me, Chelsea Sue, Dancing Freckles, given to me years ago by a teacher at school, Red or Little Red, given to me by possibly my favorite person on the face of the earth, and Bobblehead. Roflrofl, please don't ask! There are billions more, but I can't remember them right now.
Oh, and Chelse, I guess, if that counts. Everyone here calls me that.

My Nick name used to be Mal Pal, given to me by one of my best friends. Don't remember how it came about though. But I remember I hated it at first and he'd do it just to get on my nerves. lol But then I grew fond of it. Now only certain people are allowed to call me that, but it's never said much anymore.

Muffin, chock chip cup cake, sugarplumb, jeffers, jubs, jubbly, preciousnobs, Jennifer jumbuck, Jellybean, god, give, me, strength! those all come from my christian name, Jennifer, so over the years, I've shortened it to Jenny then to Jen to try and take my idiot family's minds off those names. Never works or I wouldn't've just reeled off that long list of the buggers, lol. As for the glorious, never to be forgotten 7 months I was going out with Kris, I was his little tiny bear bear and he was my big tall bear bear of the house of bears, lol, because even his parents 3 dogs were Bozzle bear, toby bear and poppy bear, eventually, lolol. O, not forgetting how that started. I'm Bellabear oon Klango, when I can remember to sign in to the bloody thing, but we couldn't think of another bear for Kris, so I came up with simply, Bubble bear, and it still sticks today, although I just shorten him to Bubble in conversation.

Wow, this topic got brought out of the depths from somewhere! But since I haven't posted to it yet, here goes. First, important to note that my real name is Alicia, not Dawn, as many on here think because of my user name.
My most common nickname is Leeshers, given to me by a friend in high school. She started it, but most of my other friends have picked it up, and it's used frequently. My sisters often call me Leeshy, which was a habit they fell into when we were growing up, and since i'm the youngest, they still do it. the nickname some have tried to give me, but which I always refused to answer to is Allie. Although my travel instructor at the CCB did get away with calling me Allie-Cat. He tended to give nicknames to those students he liked best, so I figured it was an honor that I had one.
there are also a couple that have nothing to do with my real name. Another friend in high school called me Bubbles, because she made me crack up once while I was drinking a soda, and instead of spitting it all over the place, I kept my mouth to the can and started blowing bubbles in it cuz I was laughing so hard. Another good friend calls me the Long-Haired Pixie, because I have fairly long hair, (though not as long as it used to be), and because pixies are playful, mischievous creatures, which I can be. He also sometimes calls me the Sharp-Tongued Vixen, because I tend to be extremely blunt. I think that about covers it.
The nick names that were given to me are hootnany, hot air, sunshine, my user name on this web site, baby hewy because of my maden name, Huston, and last but not lease sweed.
The last nick name was given to me by my favorit uncle because of my blond hair I had when I was a baby.
When I was little they called me Lupita sort of short for my middle name. On here Pipi calls me Marear for how Dan (harp) and a few others say my name due to accent. And last Ria is what Tremain calls me who I haven't seen in forever and miss hearing her sing every time I would log on to zbp.
